The concept of this event focused purely on the 2017 NAIDOC theme ‘our languages matter’ and feedback from the community to offer a more interactive experience on stage.
“No Buus on the Bus” is a single act play that will be delivered in English and Gurang Language. The actors will be sourced from the local pool of Indigenous youth via an auditioning process, and those selected will be mentored by professional actors and drama teachers. The whole evening performance aims to incorporate a variety program to complement the language play and other acts.
This is a free event and we invite all people to attend and enjoy the fantastic talent available in our region.
Monday 3rd July 6pm at the Moncreiff Entertainment Centre bring the whole family
Leading up to NAIDOC we will be running free workshops with professional actor/singer from Melbourne Zoy Frangos.
